It always helps to have a good camera handy; you never know when you might need it. Those moments when you wish you had a camera to snap your little ones first steps or something funny that happened don?t have to be anymore; you don?t have to wish anymore because now you can have the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP and make sure you don?t miss those special moments ever again.

Irrespective of wether it’s your toddlers birthday, or whether you’re away on holiday with the family, having a good quality camera is an ideal opportunity to capture special moments which you’ll be able to treasure for life.

The Canon Powershot SX10IS camera includes a great many features such as a ten mega pixel resolution, which by all accounts enables you to take extremely high quality photographs. Because of this high level of quality, you are also afforded some excellent printing opportunities in that you know your pictures will be printed to perfection. Also, the camera provides one with a great deal of flexibility with regards to editing the pictures.

Even those objects which seem to be far beyond your reach can still be photographed due to the fact that the camera comes with a 20 x optical zoom. Additionally, the optical image stabilizer and wide angle lens ensures silent zooming and highly accurate speed. Ideally, this camera is absolutely perfect for photographing wildlife due to the zoom being silent enough so as not to alert any animals you may be trying to photograph.

The 2.5 inch LCD features what is called a DIGIC 4 Image Processor. This improves the face detection which brings out all the features in the person on the photograph. One of the best features of this camera is the MovieSnap mode that allows you to capture still pictures while you are filming a movie.

For the sake of convenience, all of the images and video recordings are stored directly onto SD memory cards which of course you can obtain when you get the camera. This in turn makes it ever easy for one to share, edit, and transfer files. While nobody is saying that it’s not nice to have a bunch of features, it certainly is nice to have a camera which is not only convenient, but also easy to use. Essentially, even those people who don’t know much about digital cameras or technology in general, will be able to use this camera without any difficulty whatsoever.

Apart from the features already mentioned above, the camera also includes technical details such as: a maximum focal length of 100mm, a minimum focal length of 5mm, an LCD measuring 2.5 inches, 10 MP resolution, CCD optical sensor technology, and a 20 x optical zoom. Furthermore, the camera produces pictures in a convenient JPEG format so of course one never has to worry about whether or not one’s computer will be able to read the data.

The camera shoots in frame movie mode and offers exposure options like beach, snapshot, high sensitivity, portrait, color accent, night snapshot, landscape, snow, color swap, aquarium, stitch assist, night scene, sunset, macro, fireworks, sports mode, foliage and indoor. There is a mode for every occasion and every scene you are in. You can just choose the setting that best describes the situation you want to take a picture in.
