Giant Mountain Bikes For Kids

Posted at 4:03 am under Recreation and Sports

The technology behind Giant mountain bikes make them one of the best brands in the world. World class competitions, training and leisure riding all make use of Giant bikes with the world leaders in the sport choosing Giant as their bike providers. Not only are these bikes made for top class performance, but there are designs for the humblest biker. Giant makes bikes for kids who have never ridden, or who use bikes as their mode of transport.

Kids can choose from two ranges of bike made specifically for children. One range is designed for little children who have never ridden before. For children that have never ridden a bike before, there is a range for them. The second are for the more experienced young riders who use their bike for fun and freedom. Let’s take a look at both.

First Bike
There are three bikes for first time riders. Safety and fun are combined in the L’il Giant which is a tricycle in loads of colours. A pole attached to the back of the bike lets parents keep control over where the bike goes and the training wheels help the child to stay balanced. The PUDD’N range are bikes for little girls with two models to choose from. There is a cute basket on the front, 16” wheels and removable training wheels on the original size bike. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. The final model is the Animator range. This is the boy’s version of PUDD’N and is painted in much more masculine colours and the basket has been removed. Like PUDD’N there is an original size and a junior version of the bike.

Sport Bikes
The MTX and Taffy ranges are Giant’s bikes for children with more riding experience. The MTX comes in 125 and 225 versions with the former riding on 20” wheels and having 6 speed gears. 24” wheels and 18 speed gears are used on the 225. Both models use a suspension fork and Alux aluminium technology frames. The Taffy is similar to the MTX but with girl riders in mind throughout the design. The 125 has smaller wheels and fewer gears than the 225.

Your riding performance will increase with the quality of Giant mountain Bikes. You will like your child using a bike because it keeps them fit and they will have so much fun on them.
