As I’m sure you will agree, it’s always good to have to a decent camera on hand because essentially, you never know when you may need one. Let’s face it; we’ve all been in a position where we regret not having a camera with us in order to capture one or other special moment. With the arrival of the Canon Powershot SX10IS camera, it is no longer necessary for anyone to miss out on those special photographic opportunities anymore.

Whether it’s your little one’s first steps or whether or it’s a special day out with the family, having a good quality camera means that you can capture all those special moments and pleasurable memories.

While this delightful camera has a wealth of features, some of the most noticeable ones include a ten mega pixel resolution which makes it possible to take pictures of superb quality, and of course this allows for outstanding printing opportunities. Furthermore, the camera offers a great deal of flexibility with regards to being able to edit photographs.

Furthermore, the 20 x optical zoom makes it possible to capture objects which are considerably far away and of course, the optical image stabilizer, together with the wide angle lens ensures near silent zooming with extremely accurate speed. Because of this, the camera is ideal for taking wildlife photographs in that the zoom is so silent that it will not end up scaring away any animals.

It is also worth noting that the 2.5 inch LCD features a processor known as “DIGIC 4″. Essentially, this does an incredible job with regards to improving face detection, in that it helps to enhance the features of a person. Having said that, one of the most admirable features of this camera is the “MovieSnap” mode, which allows one to capture still pictures while you’re busy filming a movie.

Because all images and video recordings are stored directly onto an SD memory card which one can obtain with the camera, it is incredibly easy for you to edit, share, and transfer files. It must be said that the Canon Powershot SX10IS camera is not only very convenient, but it’s also incredibly easy to use. Even those people who’ve had minimal experience at using digital cameras will find this camera extremely user friendly. In fact, even those who are unfamiliar with the technical jargon which often accompanies electronic appliances will find they can operate this camera without any difficulty.

The Canon Powershot SX10IS camera undoubtedly features a load of technical details but those such as the 20 x optical zoom, CCD optical sensor technology, and etcetera; certainly do stand out above the rest. Of course one cannot fail to appreciate some of the other features such as the 2.5 inch liquid crystal display and the fact that the camera conveniently produces photographs which are in JPEG format.

Over and above what’s been mentioned, the camera also shoots in movie mode and offers the user convenient options such as: beach, high sensitivity, portrait mode, sunset mode, aquarium, night scene, landscape, night snap, and of course, stitch assistance. The bottom line is; there is quite literally a mode for each and every occasion you can possibly imagine. Simply choose the ideal setting which you feel matches your situation the best, and then go ahead and take the photograph.
