U.S. Citizenship The Natural Approach

Posted at 5:31 pm under Travel and Leisure

Of all of the opportunities that an outsider has of gaining residency in the United States, the easiest by far is to simply prove that your parents or grandparents were U.S. citizens. Interestingly, there are still a few people each year who are surprised to learn that because their parents or grandparents were either born in the U.S. or became U.S. citizens later, they are already U.S. citizens themselves—in which case they can toss out all of their forms that they had been preparing and simply go get a U.S. passport. However, depending upon your circumstances and the laws at the time, you might still be need a Spanish Birth Certificate Translation and other forms of identification that can provide the evidence that shows that you are who you say.

There are also some less pronounced alternatives to getting U.S. residency that even some government employees don’t consider at first. As part of this series on immigration, we will provide some additional tips to help you enjoy a rewarding and fulfilling journey. Believe it or not, there are some people born and living outisde of the U.S. who want U.S. residency and don’t even know that they are already residents. The key to U.S. citizenship is having U.S. citizens in your direct line of ancestry. Lets imagine that you were born in a city in France and while your great uncle and aunt were both from the United States. It’s is possible that citizenship could have been given to you. So basically to claim U.S. citizenship, all that is required is to might be a simple trip to a French Translation company to get your identification translated and then presented to INS.

Another startling discovery is made when people who were born in the United States and lived most of their life in other countries not even remotely close to the United States. Lets take the case of a baby that was born in San Francisco, California and then shortly after birth moved to Moscow, Russian for 35 years. So while these people haven’t voted, run for office, attended school or even serviced in the military, they are still residents of the United States. The only necessity is that the person find a Russian Translator company that conducts certifications of identification records and accurate and any other form of id that could be asked for the United States.

Of course, there are many good reasons to consult with an immigration lawyer and particularly one with a strong Legal Translation Services division. A famous example is the story of a baby that was born to a U.S. citizen and a non-U.S. citizen. Neither parent was married at the time of conception. This actually brings up some rather impressive obstacles. This could ultimately boil down to the connection that exists between you and your U.S. parent. I found it amazing that given the year, sometime the child is considered as illegitimate and deemed as having to father and therefore is not provided automatic citizenship. As you will see in the our upcoming articles, your right to claim citizenship may depend on you providing evidence that your father took the actions necessary to satisfy the legitimation law of your birth country. Legitimation laws require fathers to legally acknowledge their children.
